Special Educational Needs or Disabilities
Our school vision is ‘As a Christian family, together, we realise our God-given ability to change the world.’ This ambitious, inclusive ethos evokes our most crucial aspirations and belief: every child has a unique and precious gift that we strive to nurture and build. We recognise that everyone has their individual passions and strengths and that it is our responsibility to protect and inspire each and every child. It is our belief that these such abilities and the journeys our children are on are God’s plan created by Him for us to find and bring to the world. Our policy and offer linked below describe some of the ways we support our children on this special journey.
If you have any questions or concerns and need to talk, please speak to your child’s class teacher in the first instance. If we require further support, we can talk to our SENDCo., Mrs Coburn (while Mrs Morris is on maternity leave).
All schools are required to publish information about meeting the needs of children with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities. For information about our school, please click the links below:
Leaders are aspirational for pupils, including pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND)... Pupils with SEND are identified by staff at the earliest opportunity. They access the same curriculum as their peers. Leaders make sure that pupils in the specially resourced provision receive specialist support.
